Instructions: how to download and install your Fractal Art Background
- Determine the resolution your monitor is set to by: Left click the Start Button in the bottom right of your screen > select Control Panel double click the Display icon which opens the Display Properties window > select the Settings tab - the Screen Resolution is shown in the middle of the screen eg 1024 x 768.
- Note only 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 image resoutions are available. The file size is shown in brackets after the resolution size - all of the Background images have been optimised as far as possible, whilst retaining adequate clarity for you to enoy the complexity of the complex fractal patterns. Depending on the speed of your internet connection the images may take a few minutes to download. Broadband download should take a few seconds.
- Scroll down this page until you find a Desktop Background you wish to install.
- Click the link below your image of choice corresponding to your screen resolution - the full sized image will display in a new web page.
- Right click > Set As Background - the image is automatically assigned to your Windows background!
- You can return to this page by clicking the Back button on your browser toolbar or the back link on the web page.
Instructions: how uninstall a Windows Background
- Right click the Windows Desktop > Properties > Desktop tab
- In the Background panel, scroll to the top of the list > None > Apply (the Background will disappear) > OK button.
